X Marks the Spot came from thinking about my own dental journey. There's something so strange about having stitches where a tooth used to be and a screw in your jaw. Made with vibrant oil pastel, this piece reimagines that experience with bold color and a touch of humor. I hope it invites you to find a little curiosity in the strange ways our bodies heal.
